Klocwork Closes Successful 2009
Year highlighted by introduction of new product family and continued business growth
BURLINGTON, Mass. – January 06, 2010 – Klocwork, Inc., the global leader in automated source code analysis solutions for improving developer productivity, today marked the close of a successful 2009 business year, fueled by innovative product portfolio expansion, strong customer growth, and the expansion of the company's global partner network.
"We went into 2009 with the goal of accelerating our commitment to deliver more value to the professional developer's desktop with new, innovative tools available through more channels," said Mike Laginski, chief executive officer, Klocwork. "The customer feedback on our new products clearly demonstrates we are well positioned for accelerated growth in 2010. We exited 2009 with over 650 customers and have aggressively expanded our global partner network in Europe and Asia."
Despite a difficult economic environment, Klocwork's global partner network continued to grow and prosper. One of Klocwork's key partners in Europe, Emenda saw significant business growth and expansion in 2009 by addressing customer's developer productivity and software reliability challenges.
"Building on our success with Klocwork in Germany and France, we added offices in the United Kingdom and China to support our global customers. Our success with Klocwork is a key driver that's fueling our ambitious and positive growth strategy," said Neil Langmead, president, Emenda.
In 2009, Klocwork pursued an extremely aggressive innovation strategy, introducing three new product capabilities to the market:
- Launch of Klocwork Insight Pro to support peer code review and automated refactoring
- Release of version 9.0 of the company's flagship product, Klocwork Insight
- Introduction of Klocwork Solo for individual mobile and Android developers
