Software architecture for legacy code: Raytheon

Offering network solutions to integrate sensors and communications for government and defense customers, Raytheon Network Centric Systems had two challenges: the frequent use of legacy code and the lack of availability of the original developers. This meant new developers had to come up to speed quickly and drove the need for 'what if' scenarios to determine how systems would react to architecture changes.

Read this case study to see how Raytheon overcame the challenges of reusing legacy code by using Klocwork to create architectural pictures of the code, allowing quick understanding and prototyping of different scenarios.
